Proof & Price brings exact product labels, evidence gaps and delivered costs into one place for shoppers in India. Our nutrition guide hub contains 16 connected guides covering macro- and micronutrition, all 13 vitamins, major and trace minerals, protein and amino acids, carbohydrates, a dedicated fibre (fiber) guide, fats, water and electrolytes, gut health, digestion and absorption, balanced meals, choline, nutrient requirements, life-stage considerations, and product quality and traceability. They include food examples, reference guidance, label checks and source links. These written guides are currently in English. The detailed research desk covers four magnesium products, with a guided voice interface in 14 languages. Our expanded catalogue includes 1093 introductory product profiles from 62 brands across 130 categories, including collagen, astaxanthin, protein, creatine, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, omega-3, probiotics and fibre. These new English profiles contain manufacturer sources and comparison checks; they are not full lab reviews and are not yet included in the voice guide.

We build a considered collection around information that helps you choose. Catalogue size is a result of that work, not a measure of product quality. New additions must meet our source and identity checks as the collection grows.

What earns a place here

A specific product and a traceable source. We identify the selected formula and pack, link manufacturer information and record when it was reviewed. Different bottle sizes alone do not count as new formulas.
Useful label information. We examine the available ingredient or facts panel and explain the declared amounts and serving size where provided. An ingredient list is not treated as a complete nutrition panel. Unknown dietary status, origin or allergen information stays unknown.
Context for a decision. Profiles include comparison points and cautions. Articles distinguish general ingredient research from evidence about the exact branded formula. Unresolved identity or formula conflicts hold back new additions.

What our selection does—and does not—mean

Our review concerns available documents and sources. Inclusion does not certify purity, authenticate a retailer or a purchased batch, confirm India availability, or establish that a product is suitable for everyone. These profiles are not independent laboratory tests or clinically reviewed recommendations.

Good products belong here, with or without commission.

An affiliate partnership is never required for inclusion. We assess products by the available information, label clarity and evidence we can trace. Commission does not determine inclusion, findings or comparison order. Paid links are labelled so you can distinguish shopping destinations from our sources.

We make declared ingredients and relevant uncertainties visible so you can assess a formula against your needs. We have not established that every listed product is the cleanest or best on the market, and we do not award a blanket purity or quality seal. Where testing is discussed, its source, scope and match to the product matter.

How the research works

We match the formula, pack size and stated elemental quantity. A larger compound weight is not automatically more elemental magnesium.
Manufacturer disclosures take priority for label facts. Retailer listings provide seller offers. Sources stay attached to the relevant record.
A published test applies only to its tested sample. We show formula and batch mismatches; we do not certify the pack you receive.
Manufacturing country and raw-ingredient origin are separate facts. Missing traceability stays marked unknown.
Allergen wording is reported as a source claim. A label exclusion is not an independent allergen test or a personal safety clearance.

India shopping and currency

Product photos and names open Proof & Price profiles. Shopping buttons identify India storefronts with rupee pricing where a destination is recorded. A link to an India store does not authenticate every seller or confirm stock. If an exact India offer has not been checked, the profile says so and offers a clearly labelled Amazon India search. Search results may contain different packs or products.

Manufacturer and label-source links are separate research references; overseas sources may show dollars or another currency. We do not present a converted US sticker price as an Indian selling price. For imported orders, select India and INR at the retailer and confirm shipping, import charges and the final total at checkout.

Prices are snapshots

Product listings and displayed prices were rechecked on 23 October 2026. They can change. iHerb also asks users to confirm prices in the cart. Delivery, duties, taxes and currency fees remain unknown until you enter checkout quotes. Blank charges never count as zero. Compare the same exact formula and pack when calculating savings.

The catalogue opens alphabetically by brand and product. You can also sort by product name, category or recent additions. Proof & Price may earn a commission when you make a qualifying purchase through a link labelled “Paid link” or “affiliate link”. Our Nutrabay store link and labelled Amazon product links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Ordinary research-source links are not automatically affiliate links. Commission does not determine product findings, comparison order or safety conclusions. A store link does not mean every product in that store has been reviewed or endorsed.

Affiliate attribution and commission approval are controlled by the retailer and its program. Purchases may be tracked by that retailer or affiliate provider after you click the link, under their privacy and cookie policies. We do not sell or fulfil supplements, take payments, or receive your payment-card details. Check labels, final prices and retailer terms before buying.

What the evidence means

Clinical references explain general magnesium cautions and selected research. A study of an ingredient does not prove that a retail product, formula or batch delivers the same result. The tool does not prescribe doses, diagnose conditions or decide whether you should take a supplement.

The voice guide answers six topics: label, origin, allergens, safety, evidence and price. Its summaries are draft translations awaiting independent language and clinical review. The detailed research desk and primary sources are in English.

Who writes the product journal?

Proof & Price is an independent information and comparison project for readers in India. “Proof & Price editorial” identifies this project, not a clinician or a manufacturer. Product articles use AI-assisted drafting and summarise linked manufacturer labels alongside ingredient research.

What we check

Each product profile identifies a selected formula and pack, records the source and review date, and links to the manufacturer’s information. Article sections separate those label facts from general ingredient evidence. Dietary suitability is left unconfirmed when the available information does not establish the whole formula’s status. A source-check date does not mean a clinical review or a physical inspection of the product.

What we have not verified

These are not hands-on product reviews or independent laboratory tests. The articles have not received independent clinical review. We do not claim to have authenticated a retailer, tested a batch, confirmed Indian stock or established benefits for every exact branded formula. General ingredient evidence may not apply to a combination product, a different dose or an individual reader.

Keeping information current

Formulas, labels and source pages can change after the recorded check. Open the original sources, compare the exact pack and read the current label before buying. If sources disagree, we describe the uncertainty where identified. Published additions must have product-specific source links and label information. Images are reusable pack photographs or clearly labelled editorial information cards; catalogue size does not replace source checks.

Privacy & voice

The application has no advertising trackers, enquiry database or mailing list. Usage counters are kept only to enforce voice limits, not to build marketing profiles. It does not save your voice recordings, questions or entered prices. Questions and comparisons remain in page memory and reset when you reload or close the page. Product, language and research-view selections appear in the page URL so you can copy a link; questions and entered prices are never included.

Using voice

Recording begins only after you choose to use voice and allow microphone access. Each clip lasts at most 20 seconds. Tap the microphone again to submit it, or press Stop to discard the active recording.

Your audio is sent through this site to an external speech-processing service to turn it into text. Text selected for read-aloud is sent to that service to generate audio. If online voice is unavailable, your browser’s speech service may be used, with a status message. These services may process request data under their own retention and security policies. The site’s no-storage statement does not mean that every service involved has zero retention.

Changing language, switching views, hiding the page or pressing Stop cancels local recording and pending playback. This cannot recall data already sent for processing. Avoid sharing private medical information.

Fair use and storage

Voice and AI features have usage limits. A message appears when a limit is reached; prepared topic answers and text remain available. Failed requests may count. To enforce fair use, the app stores counters with a daily scrambled identifier derived from a network address or signed-in identifier. The original identifier is not saved in this usage database. Visitor counters expire within two UTC days and are removed during subsequent requests; service-wide counters expire after their period.

Saved products and motion preferences are stored in your browser on this device until you remove them or clear browser data. Installing the app also stores a generic offline screen. Product pages, shopping and answers need an internet connection; the app does not keep offline copies of your questions or recordings.

Common questions

How do I start?

Choose your language and an exact product. Tap one of the six topics, or ask one short question with the microphone. Use Listen to replay, Speak slowly to reduce speed and Stop to end playback. Research desk opens the longer English record.

Why doesn’t it answer every question?

The six topic buttons use prepared product summaries. Optional AI conversation can address follow-up questions when enabled and available. If an answer is unavailable, choose a topic button. Personal treatment and dose questions lead to general cautions rather than a prescription.

Which product is best?

The site does not assign a universal winner. Compare the formula, evidence gaps, allergen disclosures and complete delivered cost. Costs alone do not establish quality, absorption, authenticity or individual suitability.

Why can’t I see a savings amount yet?

Both routes need every cost. Enter zero only when a charge is confirmed absent. A worked example uses clearly labelled assumptions. The import fee limit shows a mathematical break-even point, not a prediction of customs fees or permission to import.

Can someone else open a copied link?

A link preserves selections. This pilot is available to anyone with the URL. A copied link includes product and language selections, never your questions or entered costs.

What if a price or label has changed?

Open the attached manufacturer or seller source and check the exact pack and physical label. Replace prices in the calculator with your current quotes. The catalogue is a dated research snapshot, with no live price feed.

Optional AI conversation

When you enable AI conversation, your question, selected product, language and up to three recent exchanges are processed by an external AI service. It may consult public web sources. Replies are AI-generated, may be wrong and are not independently reviewed medical advice.

This site does not store chat transcripts. Conversation context stays in page memory and clears on reload or when you clear the conversation. Service partners may retain request data for security and abuse monitoring. Reading a reply aloud sends that text for speech processing. Do not share private medical information.

These photographs identify the pictured products. Brand names and packaging marks belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement. Current manufacturer labels are the source for formula facts. Packaging design may change. Original Proof & Price text covers are labelled product information cards, not photographs or recreations of a pack.
